Stubb's Behavior Enhancement Program

Image of Fairhaven Our philosophy is to use a holistic behavior management approach, which supports our residents’ physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental health needs and abilities. The goal of our program is to help residents and families adapt and cope with behavioral changes. We individualize each resident’s care plan to address the specific needs in a safe, controlled, therapeutic environment. When a resident’s condition causes behaviors which affect his enjoyment of life, we set up unique behavioral management approaches to offer the resident a sense of safety and security while supporting the family as well.

United Church Homes and Fairhaven Community gratefully recognize Mrs. Gertrude "Gertie" Stubbs for her many years of service and philanthropy to Fairhaven Community. A hallmark of Gertie’s life was her tireless commitment to others. The dedication of the Gertrude "Gertie" Stubbs Behavior Unit in 1999 is a living legacy and one of her many generous contributions to Fairhaven Community.
